“The most important of life’s battles is the one we fight daily … in the silent chambers of the soul” – David O McKay
The Keystone Model is a set of 10 guiding principles that mark the journey of recovery for all our clients. It begins with the cultivation of hope for a better future. Self-awareness of the reality of our situation. Personal honesty with others and with ourselves. A committment to educate ourselves about our addiction. Application of the things we have learned. Integrating those actions until they become part of our very nature. A growing sense of empowerment. Freedom from our addictive behaviors. Selfless service for others and continuing to maintain our recovery by having a sense of balance in our lives. At Keystone Counseling we commit ourselves to helping our clients through this process and through the process of recovery.
